Picasso Cube

£16.00 (between £10 and £16 per day)

The Picasso cube aims at internal synergy, featuring 10 distinct two-colour archetypes. Cards are hand picked to cross-pollinate between archetypes, and therefore work well in multiple color combinations – with the exception of one wedge that is actively anti-synergistic.

This cube is a 360 card, medium-power cube and focuses on synergy provided by some powerful, lesser played cards – along with some format all-stars!

Description

The Picasso Cube, designed by CubeTutor DonCheadle, is an interesting and challenging medium-power 360 card cube.

From the curator: “Cube Design is a science, but it is also an art form.”

The Picasso cube aims at internal synergy, featuring 10 distinct two-colour archetypes. Cards are hand picked to cross-pollinate between archetypes, and therefore work well in multiple color combinations – with the exception of one wedge that is actively anti-synergistic.

Design philosophy wise, the Picasso Cube aims to recreate a casual highlander environment, where clear priority picks are (supposedly) rare and every decision matters. By maintaining a power level that is above the one of peasant style-cubes, while omitting true power cards, it holds an elegant balance of janky brews and wacky combinations, cutthroat technology and cards that are plain old fun to slam on the table.
